Filming: Part 3...b

Wednesday the 9th of March found us filming outside the hotel and on the roads nearby. We were trying to complete all the extra scenes so we could focus on the graveyard scene for the next lesson. We filmed Konrad and Goz walking (well Konrad walking and Goz following him) around a couple of roads but decided later on that with the change in our story, it wouldn't really work or fit in. But in case of another unexpected change in plan, we would be prepared with some extra shots.

From this experience so far, I've learnt that planning to film and actually filming are completely different. When you plan, you have no real idea of what could happen. Let me give you an example. One of our shots of Goz following Konrad was shot with the camera inside a shopping trolley. I pushed the trolley down the road as they walked along the pavement. Believe it or not, the shot came out really good even though I wasnt really fond of the idea in the first place. All I can say is, expect the unexpected. Which would then become the expected....or something.
